Mitsubishi bad design ++
Full of bad designs
There are 5 months since I took delivery of the car and I still can not get used to it.
There is almost no journey that I took in this car without finding out some bad thing about it. Here are 10 (ten):
Driver door buttons are NOT ALL illuminated. So, if it is dark outside when you got in the car and you want to lock the car, you have to fiddle to find the button, because will not automatically lock during drive. A feature available on old Renault in the '90, but to advanced for Mitsubishi 30 (twenty) years later. Or, if you want to fold the mirror or readjust them because this car does not have driver memory position although it can cost as much as 55k euro, than you have to look for the buttons using your smart phone as a flashlight, anyway you do not have where to put it, so at least you can use it!
Central screen displays GPS coordinates, but does NOT have Navigation
Central screen air conditioner has no functionality, it just presents a graphical picture of the ventilation system, same redundant information that is presented below without any graphical design. If you want to adjust the amount of air that is spited between upper and lower vents you can do that ONLY from the app. "Yes", the same app that has a one star review and only the chosen one can install.
Useless central console clock screen
Hard to access Park button. This is no BMW and I did not have German car design expectations, but to put the park button on top of the "joystick" instead of hiding it somewhere in front and at the bottom of the gear lever should have been a no banner. It wasn't! That is the reason that German cars are miles in front of second class Mitsubishi clunkers.
Car consumption history does NOT updated during real time, instead you have to circle between screen. Very safe indeed! Note my SARCASM!
History fuel consumption graphic has a 3 step fix scale with 20, 40, 60l / 100km (3 MPG) average fuel economy. What car does 60l/100km? Is this car equipped with a tank engine and Mitsubishi forgot to tell us?
History electric consumption graphic only goes to 20kWh, on a car that regularly gets well above that value, even without heater or A/C on.
Instant fuel is intentional misleading, by not displaying an exact value, only a graphical indication in the right half of the same circle with EV power were lower the value better the economy, but not for fuel where the logic is done in mirror side: lower the value bigger the consumption!
I really hate this car and I am sorry I bought it! It is the biggest car mistake I ever done!
