Always on low battery.
Today I had planned to do a short series of road trips for a total of 52km. Theoretical, plenty of EV range. In reality, I had to do a Quick Charge after 26km, so to be sure that I can reach the next stop, at 16 km distance only on electricity. Real life range is disappointing! CHAdeMO put 2.8kW into the battery in 10 minutes. After today driving the car lost another 2km EV range for a total of 6 km up to this point.
“Real 30 km max EV range!”
You will always have NO battery. Always running low on battery. Because the battery is very small 13,8 from which only 11kWh are usable and from that because of BMU only a small fraction of it actually used, the real range with AC on will be around 30 km max. My job commute is 10km round trip, but usually I make additional stops on the way for a total of 20km (shopping for ex.). This means that every single time I do not have sufficient EV range for an additional detour, always the battery is to low and I end up postponing that trip or not doing it at all (very frustrating because I try to be as green as possible). Every time you see a power socket you will have to plug the car in just to be able to do another very short leg of the trip on EV, very frustrating.
