Car remote app.

Hackers disabling car alarm.

“Remote app only on WI-FI”

Car remote app is another useless thing about this car. The app works only using the car WI-FI, not via internet. Car remote app WI-FI range is very short, around 3-5 meters if you are not in direct line site or 5-10 m on open ground. The car remote has a bigger range then the car WI-FI used for remotely controlling the car. When you add the fact that the car key remote mother board has a button to activate the climate, but on the casing this button does not exist, you start to realize how bad the design is. The fact that you can't set an actual temperature other than whatever you left set up when you got out the car is a big software negligence in my opinion.

When two persons tell you that you are drunk, you go to bed!

Attempts at an app made by Mitsubishi got 1,4 stars for the first one, 1.5 stars for the second one and finally 1.9 stars for the last one! Mitsubishi, I would leave software development to professionals!

Also, I would like to suggest hara-kiri to those that allowed such flaws to reach the client. On Outlander PHEV forum there is a hack that involves another phone with a SIM with mobile data on it and some android app that will allow you to connect to the car via the internet. I will post all the steps when I will have time to do the hack to control the car via internet.
